Bones Without Barriers

'Bones without Barriers' is dedicated to the ongoing excavation of human remains without screens, which usually separate the archaeologists from the community. This involves openly discussing the continuing ethical circumstances of the excavation and reburial.

This section of the website provides information about the project and examines the ongoing debate and discussion of the topic. Also present in this section is an introduction to community archaeology and links to special educational packs developed for schools, including specific materials directed at Key Stages 1, 2 and 3.
